It is generic, preparing studentsto select areas of certification at the baccalaureate level in elementary,middle, and secondary education. It requires students to take thePRAXIS I exam, successfully achieving the minimum passing score requiredby the New Hampshire State Board of Education prior to theirgraduation from the program. The program has a common first year ofcourse work. In the second year students elect an educational transferfocus in any of the following areas: math; science; social science or English.Elective courses for each area of study can be obtained from theprogram faculty. Students will declare their focus before the beginning oftheir second year of the program.
