Trend-Setting TechnologyDistance display formeasuring distance to rail-endblock systemsPunctual distance measuring- Measuring range from 300 m to 10 m.- Rail switches in the line area before the buffer stopdetect the rail vehicle.- Coloured signal transmitters behind or beside thebuffer stop visualise the area which the vehicle is in.When rail vehicles stop or park at railwaystations, the trains often hit the buffer stopsby accident. To prevent this happening,Rawie and HANNING & KAHL have developeda distance display. Distance to thebuffer stop is measured and visualised totrain drivers, enabling them to adapt vehiclespeed accordingly. The distance displayis available in two versions, which can alsobe combined.Technical dataPower supply: 230 V AC/24 V DCTemperature range: -25 C to +70 CDetection area: 300 m - 10 m100 m - 1 m10 m - 1 mContinuous distance measuring- Measuring range from 100 m to 1 m by laser or inthe measuring range from 10 m to 1 m byultrasound.- Distance is displayed in metres by matrix signaltransmitters or visualised as approach indication byflashing signal transmitters.
