The joystick’s five buttons are fullyprogrammable: send any command to the devices connected bythe daisy-chain, or trigger the computer to execute pre-programmedcommand sequences. The software continuously displays the statusof the joystick and the devices attached to it. The entire daisy-chaincan be controlled through a single RS-232 port (or USB port withoptional adaptor) on a laptop or desktop.One axis is controlled by moving the joystick from left to right, anotherby moving the joystick from front to back, and a third by rotatingthe handle. By programming the joystick, you can specify whichconnected device corresponds to each axis.42
