These actuators are available with travel ranges from16 mm to 60 mm and thrust up to 2200 N (490 lb), and they havea threaded tip for push/pull operation.InstallationThe NA series actuators are designed to connect directly toZaber’s T-CD stepper motor controller (purchased separately).T-CD controllers can be daisy-chained with any of Zaber’sT-Series products.Manual ControlA convenient knob on the T-CD controller permits smooth manualcontrol at variable speeds in both directions. During a manualmove the actuator’s position is constantly transmitted to thecomputer and is displayed by the software. The knob on theT-CD controller allows you to use the NA actuator even withouta computer.Computer ControlWe provide software so you can easily control your Zaber devices.Simply select the device you want to move, select a command(like “move absolute”), and enter the desired position. After themove, the controller reports the new position of the actuator.Built-in scripting allows you to easily set up complex automationroutines. We also provide all of our source code so that you cancustomize our software for your application.16
