115XT HiQCoaxialStage MonitorDescriptionThe 115XT HiQ is the high end reference product within the L-ACOUSTICS ®XT coaxial range. Operating as an active 2-way enclosure, it is dedicated to stagemonitoring and distributed sound reinforcement applications. Operating over afrequency bandwidth from 50 Hz to 20 kHz this can be lowered to 32 Hz with theaddition of the SB118 subwoofer.The 115XT HiQ enclosure contains a 3’’ diaphragm compression driver loadedonto a constant directivity conical waveguide united in a coaxial configuration witha 15’’ low frequency transducer. Integrated into a compact low profile bass-reflextuned enclosure this coaxial transducer arrangement produces a 50° axi-symmetricdirectivity output along with a smooth tonal response free of any secondary lobesover the entire frequency range, resulting in exceptional immunity to feedbackespecially in monitoring situations.Having two fixed angle settings of 30˚ and 60° (with regard to the vertical) thewedge-shaped cabinet design makes the 115XT HiQ perfectly suited to short orlong throw monitoring use. Made of high grade Baltic birch plywood, the cabinetalso features a pole mount socket and the complimentary ETR15 bracket can beused for flown applications.The control and amplification of the 115XT HiQ is managed by the LA8 platform.The active DSP filtering encompasses advanced crossover functions, system EQ,HF and LF transducer time alignment, and dual (real time and RMS) protection ofthe transducers. On board the LA4/8 a wide variety of presets areavailable across the entire XT range which provide the sound designerwith total creative freedom for any conceivable application in theatre,clubs, concert halls, broadcast and multipurpose facilities.As well as delivering cutting edge audio quality, the LA4/8 amplifiedcontroller offers unique dual transducer protection system, precise systemdrive engine, and remote EQ and tonal balancing features. A single LA4can power up to eight 8XT or four 12XT enclosures. A single LA8 canpower up to four 115XT HiQ.
