Fall 2010 ORC SchoolThe Fall 2010 Outdoor Rock Climbing School, though still in progress at the time of thiswriting, has been a terrific success from my perspective. We’ve had a record turnout for recentyears with 38 students and a nearly equal number of volunteer instructors, many of themreturning from the Spring 2010 class. This class has set a new standard for energy, enthusiasm, and FOOD.It’s been a blast meeting so many new friends, reconnecting with old friends, sharing someknowledge and skills, and getting outside on the Arizona rock. Thanks to all the students forbeing so diligent, tolerant of their lead instructor, and for being just so much fun. Thanks toall the volunteer instructors for making this Outdoor Rock Climbing School possible. Thanksto the eight very special Outing Leaders for capping this school off with Grad Climb outingsall over the valley – Jodie Bostrom, Robert England, Eric Evans, Jason Garvan, Dave Mc-Clintic, Bruce HcHenry, Matt Pearcy, and, of course, Rogil Schroeter . And, finally, thanks toRon Auerbach for opening his house for our Grad Party. To all our recent grads, Justin and I are looking forward to seeing you in the November Anchorsclass, if you can make it. And for sure I’m looking forward to your help at the Spring2011 Outdoor Rock Climbing School. Give a little back and I guarantee you’ll be surprisedat what you receive in return.BillNEW MEMBERS: Climbers - Please WelcomeAnnette AustinBrandon BlainCarly CipinkoMic CroitoruJill DaughertySutton DemlongAngela FallonRyne FallonJacob HancockWeixiao HuangChris HumphreysMark LucasTroy LucasMichael LustIsaac MartinezDouglas MatsonErin MatsonSylvy NasserElaine QuigleyKorri RederickPaul SchaafRodney SchnuelleMarshall SniderRob TayntonChris WomackKara WoolgarMike Zapedaamcaz.org 6
