Petroleum Engineering is related to the upstream activities in theexploration, development and exploitation of hydrocarbon resources.Our Petroleum Engineering Department offers a moderncurriculum that emphasizes not only engineering fundamentalsand practice but also an integrated approach to the applicationsof geoscientific principles, technical and business decision-makingtools under uncertainties to minimize risks. With access to the localoperating company facilities and our well-equipped state-of-theartmodern laboratories and computer facilities with the state-ofthe-artsoftware that industry also uses, we are uniquely positionedto offer a curriculum that is both well-balanced and hands on.
