Is there a tuition fee for the Disney Courses?The Disney College Program does not charge a tuition fee for the courses we offer, but studentsenrolled in Collegiate courses will be responsible for textbook and course material costs, which rangefrom $12 - $24 per course. If a student is earning credit for the education courses, his or her schoolmay charge tuition/enrollment fees.16ProgramGUIDECan a participant change jobs?No; unfortunately we have limited roles available in each line of business. The recruiter has reserveda spot for the participant in the role indicated in their invitation. This role reservation was madebased on the roles the participant indicated they were receptive to on the Role Checklist and duringtheir interview.What are participants expected to wear to Disney Traditions?Participants often ask what attire is appropriate for Disney Traditions, the training class all newCast Members must attend. While attending this class, participants must adhere to the Disney Lookguidelines for non-costumed Cast Members as outlined below.Once assigned to their work location, Cast Members will be expected to follow the guidelines in theDisney Look Book for costumed Cast Members.WOMENAcceptable• Professional options for women include dress pants with a classic-styleblouse or sweater, skirted or pants suit, dress with or without a jacketand business-style walking shorts with a blouse and jacket or vest.• Clothing should be neat, pressed and conservative in nature.• Business-style shoes are required. Shoes should be fully enclosed or mayhave one of the following: a small peep-toe, sling back, or open back.• Sleeveless tops and dresses are permitted provided the sleeve width isno less than 3 inches.• Professional style mid calf Capri pants.• Hair must be neatly arranged in a conservative style.• Hair color and highlights must be natural looking, well maintained andcomplementary to skin tone.NOTE: Highlights should be no more than two shades difference from thebase hair color and must be well blended over the entire head.• Nail polish must be complementary to your skin tone and may containno decor. Nails must not exceed ¼ inch beyond tips of fingers.Unacceptable• NO denim, spandex or sheer fabrics.• NO dress or skirt length shorter than three inches above the kneecap.• NO tank tips, spaghetti straps or other casual styles.• NO cotton twill, cargo, leggings or other casual styles of Capri pants.• NO polo-style shirt, T-shirts, extreme graphics or non-company logos.• NO sandals, athletic shoes, platform shoes, cowboy boots or flip-flops.• NO jewelry may be worn in body piercings, with the exception of amatching set of appropriately sized earrings, worn in the lowest hole inthe earlobe.• NO visible tattoos or other body modification, including ear spacers.MENAcceptable• Dress trousers and a short- or long-sleeved professional-style shirt arerequired. Shirts must be tucked in, with the exception of camp-style dressshirts and sweaters specifically tailored otherwise.• Clothing should be neat, pressed and conservative in nature.• Dress shoes and socks are required.• Sideburns should be neatly trimmed, straight and have even width, andmay not extend beyond the bottom of the earlobe.• Hair must be neatly cut in a conservative style so that it does not extendbeyond or cover the ears or collar.• Hair color and highlights must be natural looking, well maintained andcomplementary to skin tone.NOTE: Highlights should be no more than two shades difference from thebase hair color and must be well blended over the entire head.• Mustaches must be neatly trimmed and fully grown, not extending pastthe corners of the mouth and not covering the lip.
