Now, <strong>Channell</strong> has added the Self-Lock ® cover security system and increasedthe size of the cover and base to betteraccommodate larger fiber optic nodes andprovide more fiber storage.The new self-locking <strong>SPH2436</strong> pedestalcomes standard with <strong>Channell</strong>’s Self-Locksecurity system and the proven 500 SeriesHeat Dissipation Cover HDC ® that is fullyvented on all four sides and has an insulatedattic area to help reduce costly nodefailures caused by overheating. The newenlarged base is the same as <strong>Channell</strong>'sSGLB2436 “Shutter Box” Series base thatfeatures unsurpassed “I-Beam” strengthand the highest sidewall/strength deflectionratings in the industry.
