OC’s coaching staff alsovoted women’s basketball coach StephanieFindley and golf coach David Lynn ontothe committee.Other committee members are JeffBingham, Alfred Branch, Stephen Eck,Risa Forrester, Ron Frost, DeWayne Hall,Wes McKinzie and Chuck White (staff andadministration); Don Leftwich, LawrenceMurray and Ryan Newell (faculty); MurrayEvans, April Kaaiohelo, Daryl Lidia,Lynn Mitchell, David North and Katy Seat(alumni and Eagle Club representatives).Others who may consult with thecommittee include experts in the field ofathletic affiliation and representatives fromvarious institutions and athletic organizationssuch as the NCAA and the NAIA.OC NAMES NEW SOCCER COACHESDavidScott and SeanO’Connor havebeen named headcoaches of the OCmen’s and women’ssoccer teams,respectively.Scott, a nativeof Yukon, Okla.,joins <strong>Oklahoma</strong><strong>Christian</strong> fromSaint Leo <strong>University</strong>(Fla.).O’Connor servedas an assistantcoach for theOC men’s andwomen’s teams lastseason.Scott is a 2001graduate of the<strong>University</strong> ofCentral Arkansas,where he was anall-conference and all-region goalkeeperand set numerous school records. As anassistant coach, he helped lead UCA to the2002 NCAA Division II Final Four andSaint Leo to the 2005 NCAA Division IIregion finals.O’Connor earned NAIA All-Americahonorable mention at Lindenwood <strong>University</strong>(Mo.). From 1992 to 1995, he playedprofessionally as a member of the TyresoFF and Hanriken SK teams in Stockholm,Sweden.A native of Altus, Okla., O’Connorhas served as director of operations forAdvanced Laser Center in <strong>Oklahoma</strong> Citysince 1997. He is married to the formerSylvia Jansson.
