This means the filter is able tohandle extreme physical conditions and at the same time isresistant to corrosion.The filter construction consists of three elements with themain housing attached to the connections using a specialwelding process. This welding ensures a robust and reliablejoint and at the same time enables unlimited possible orientationsof the connection to the integrated bracket. This achievesan extremely high flexibility and enables adaptation of thefilter to almost all installation situations.The clean air outlet is also reinforced as standard with ametal ring which allows a tightening torque on the hoseclamps of up to 15 Nm.Housing made from plasticreinforced with fibre-glassRaw air inletNaturally the standard version also has an integrated connectionport for a service switch or indicator.The high pre-separation efficiency of over 85 % makes thenew ENTARON XD ideal for applications with heavy dustloads. This value of 85% sets the standard for its size filterclass with comparable competitor products only able toachieve a much lower value. High performance filter elementsThe filter elements of the new ENTARON XD are thoughtfullydesigned to handle demanding applications:MANN+HUMMELspiral wound glue strip• A new sealing system ensures reliable sealing between theelements and housing.• A robust middle tube made from plastic einforces the filterelement and therefore protects the machine and the engine.• The ENTARON XD uses a filter medium which simultaneouslyoffers dramatically improved separation efficiencyand a long service life.• The MANN+HUMMEL spiral wound glue strip stabilizes thepleat ends and thus ensures that the element can achieveits full performance under all operating conditions. An advantageonly available as standard from MANN+HUMMEL.• The safety element in the ENTARON XD is screwed to thehousing to prevent the possibility of unintentional removaland to ensure reliable function of the filter.Housing casingService coverClever detailsColor-coded fasteners simplifyhandling and are easyto understand even whenvisibility conditions are unfavorable.The fasteners can also belocked using special snap-innoses so they are no longerin the way when removing orattaching the cover.
