From a humble background, Ronilson
started to practice at the Cosipa
Employees Association. During his first
lessons he distinguished himself, but
had no money to continue practicing.
It was then that coach Pedro Sena
came into his life, he paid the entrance
fee and told him to do his best
because he would become a good
athlete. On the competition trips, as
an inspiration, he listens to songs of
the band Toque no Altar. Together
with Erlon Silva he was defeated by
the Cubans at the finals of the
Guadalajara Pan American Games.
