“The Wall”; abroad he is the
“Blocking Machine”. Obviously,
blocking is Ricardo’s greatest
weapon. He is the only beach
volleyball athlete of the world to
hold three olympic medals. He
finished his partnership with
Emanuel at the end of 2009. Since
then he has played with Pedro
Solberg and Marcio, and in mid
2011 he started to double with
Pedro Cunha.
