Maria Elisa was elected the best
player of the Brazilian Circuit of
2009 when she was a champion
with Talita. She also won prizes for
the best service and defense in the
same year. Her favorite dish is
mashed potatoes. During free
hours she enjoys going to the
movies. She used to play with
Vanilda Leão with whom she won
the Norwegian World Circuit (08)
before pairing with Talita. This is
her first Olympic Games
participation.
