In her childhood Larissa played
basketball and handball but it was
volleyball that most appealed to
her. In 2002, a disk hernia almost
forced her to give up sports. She
retuned thanks to physiotherapy. In
2003, together with Ana Richa, she
won the bronze medal at the Santo
Domingo Pan American Games. An
admirer of Shelda, in her backpack
she always carries solar protection
lotion, sun glasses and lipstick. She
participated in the Beijing Olympic
Games with Ana Paula due to
Juliana’s knee injury.
