A very precocious talent, in 2007 at the age
of 15, Raulzinho made his debut with the
adult team of the Minas Tennis Club. His
outstanding performance at the under-18
America Cup (he was the leader in
assistances and the 8th highest basket score
of the competition) in 2010 guaranteed a
place with the group that competed in the
Turkey World Championship in the same
year, being the youngest athlete on the
court. He plays for the Lagun Aro Bilbao of
Spain. His father Raul, today a coach, has
played for the Brazilian national team
during the 90’s and was the 3rd placed at
the America Cup of 1997.
