Marquinhos played for the Monte
Líbano, Corinthias, Bauru and
Vasco teams before transferring to
the Premiata Montegranaro of
Italy, in 2004. He played 26 games
for the NBA New Orleans Hornets
during the 2006/2007 season and
scored a total of 50 points. He was
reassigned to the NBDL’s Tulsa
66ers where he played 13 games.
He was part of the group that
finished in the 9th place at the
World Championship in 2010.
