At the age of Leandrinho was
already trying to hit his first
baskets. He played for the
Palmeiras and Bauru clubs (where
he was Brazilian champion in
2002) before going to the NBA
Phoenix Suns. He played for seven
years for the Arizona team and
was elected the best Sixth Man of
the 2006/07 season. He also played
for the Toronto Raptors during the
2010/2011 season and part of the
2011/2012 before transferring to
the Indiana Pacers.
