Sandro started to practice athletics
at the late age of 24 after loosing
his job as a real estate broker in
Manaus. He trained together with
the children and was able to
develop. In 2005 he moved to São
Paulo and at the same year he won
at bronze medal in the 100m at the
Izmir University Games in Turkey. At
the Beijing Olympic Games he
obtained the 4th place in the 4x100m
relay and the 30th place in the 200m.
He was a finalist in the 4x100m at
the Osaka World Championship (07)
and Berlin (09).
