A member of the relay group
4x100m that won the gold medals
at the Pan American Games of
Guadalajara 2011 and Rio 2007,
Nilson was discovered at the Vila
Olímpica of Duque de Caxias
project at the age of 16. A fan of
rap and black music he is inspired
by singer Ray Charles. On the
tracks his idol is the former
sprinter Maurice Greene. He went
to Beijing 2008 as a substitute
athlete of the 4x100m relay that
finished in 4th place.
