Before becoming a high jump athlete,
Guilherme practiced steeplechase race
and long jump. The first contact with
the sport modality happened during a
competition close to his home. When
he finishes his athletic career,
Guilherme plans to take a public exam
for the Military Police and graduate in
Biology. The rare leisure time he has is
dedicated to his wife and walking
with his dogs. The jumping athlete
José de Lima is a great friend and
inspiration. The mark of 2.28m in June
placed him in the leadership of the
South American ranking.
