Vanda started to compete in
athletics almost by chance. At a
student competition in 2003, at
the age of 15, she participated in a
race to defend her school. She
liked it and hasn’t stopped ever
since. Before athletics she played
handball and futsal. She attends a
physiotherapy graduation course
and plans to work on the recovery
of high performance athletes
when she leaves the tracks. During
her free time she enjoys listening
to music, watching movies and
theater plays.
