Dante started in sports practicing
swimming but at 14 he began to
play volleyball at school. Five years
later he was already in the
Brazilian national team and was
South American champion in 1999.
In 2000, was elected the third best
hitter of the Sydney Olympic
Games and contributed to the
three World Championship titles
won by Brazil.
