Her first contact with volleyball
was in a street play, when she was
11. Sassá and her friends played in
an improvised court where the net
was a string stretched from one
lamp post to another one. Before
becaming a profissional athlete,
she used to play in school. During
her free time, she loves to go to
the beach and to the movies.
When she ends the career, she
intends to study veterinary
medicine.
