Swimming was her first sport;
when she got tired of it she chose
volleyball, which she mistook for
basketball. She began practicing at
the Centro Esportivo Miécimo da
Silva in Rio de Janeiro and, later
played for the Tijuca Tennis Club.
The fist summons for the national
team was at 19. During her free
time she enjoys bicycling and
skating. She intends to graduate in
Marine Biology.
