Twice she was elected the world’s
best player – in 2005 and 2008. At
12, she changed from the fashion
catwalks to the volleyball courts.
She was 17 when she first worn
the Brazilian national team shirt
and, since 2002, is part of the
adult team. Her greatest joy was
the birth of her daughter Mel in
2006. She doesn’t eat sweets,
loves style clothes and decoration.
A left knee injury kept her from
the Athens Olympic Games in
2004.
