Hugo Hoyama will participate in
the Olympic Games for the sixth
consecutive time, matching the
Brazilian participation record of
Torben Grael. He started
practicing table tennis at the age
of 7 and in Guadalajara 2011 he
won his 10th gold medal in Pan
American Games – he also has one
silver and four bronze medals. A
fan of Palmeiras Football Club, he
likes to use green and white
underwear during competitions.
