the Brazilian gold medal record
winner in Pan American Games
with 12 gold medals. In London,
he will reach his third Olympic
participation. In Beijing 2008 he
won the 4th place in the 200m
medley and 8th in the 400m
medley. In Athens 2004 he arrived
in 5th place (200m) and 17th (400m).
