In 2005 Geisa started practicing
athletics in São Roque. She won a
series of titles in the base
categories with an outstanding
performance at the World Youth
Championship in 2010. In last June
she also excelled in the adult
category winning the gold medal
at the Ibero American
Championship, where she reached
the Olympic qualifying time. She
used to attend a Psychology
graduation course but transferred
to Business Administration. She
enjoys going to the movies.
