In 2011, Fabíola completed 20 years
defending the national team. She
will participate of her third Olympic
Games edition, 12 years after being
the only representative of the
women’s swimming team at Sydney
2000. A Brazilian and South
American record holder for the 50
and 100m backstroke and 4X100m
medley, she has accumulated more
than 1,000 medals throughout her
career. She is a Theater Arts
graduate by the Knoxville,
Tennessee University in the United
States.
