Personal problems almost forced
her to give up the carrier but a
victory at the Brazil Trophy of 2010
was her turning point. She worked
as a grocery packer of a
supermarket before deciding to
dedicate herself entirely to
athletics, which she did at the
Vasco Club. Before racing the
400m she trained vault jumping.
She is a fan of the former sprinter
Robson Caetano.
