Patricia won a gold medal at the
Guadalajara Pan American Games by
anticipation, even before the Medal
Race. She started windsurfing as a
small child following her older sister
Catarina. She became so addicted to
the sport that nowadays she can’t live
away from the sea. The Bird’s Nest
parade at the opening ceremony of
the Beijing Olympic Games was the
most exciting moment of her career.
She scored the 29th placement at the
Perth world Championship. After she
stops competing, Patrícia plans to work
as an architect.
