Marques, won the first Brazilian
medal at the Guadalajara Pan
American Games when she
conquered the silver. She was
defeated by the American athlete
Margoux Isaksen. She started
practicing modern pentathlon in
2003, was the 18th placed at the
Beijing Olympic Games 2008. In
pentathlon, swimming is her
strongest event as it was her
original sport modality.
