Sarah Menezes is the main Judo
reference of the North/Northeast
area of Brazil. Since childhood she
trains with boys, and transformed
the distrust of her parents with
this modality into success on the
tatami. The only Brazilian judo
athlete two-times under 20 world
champion, Sarah competed at the
Beijing Olympic Games in 2008,
but lost her very first fight to the
Hungarian athlete Eva
Csernoviczki.
