Chana is the most experienced
handball player of Brazil (three
Olympic Games and six World
Championships). She just renewed
her contract with the Randers of
Denmark for two more years. She
was the first Brazilian player to
leave the country to play abroad,
in Europe. In 1999, she went to
Spain to the El Serrobus club. She
is married to Jairo, former player
and football manager. An admirer
of Rogério Ceni, her shirts are
similar to those of the goalkeeper.
