Sergio started practicing at 7 years
of age, in his hometown, São
Bernardo. In Doha/2011 he won
the outstanding revelation trophy
at the World Cup. He says he loves
the adrenalin generated by
competitions. He contributed to
the conquest of the gold medal
(teams) at the Guadalajara Pan
American Games in 2011, but an
injury on his right ankle impaired
his performance at the individual
finals.
