Fabiana was titular player of the
four Brazilian matches at the World
Cup of 2011. At the Beijing 2008
Olympic Games she entered during
the semifinals against Germany and
the finals against the USA. She
began learning football at a basic
school in Salvador at the age of 7. At
15 she moved to Rio de Janeiro
where she played for the America
and the Cepe Duque de Caxias clubs.
An injury on her left knee left her
out of the Rio 2007 matches. The
Corinthians and the Huelva of Spain
are former clubs.
