A Pan American Games champion,
Adriana secured the Olympic
qualifying trials with the 9th place at
the Tokyo Marathon in Japan. Her
passion for athletics started as a
children’s game. At the age of 12, in
her hometown, she went with her
brother for her first contest. She won
and fell in love with this sport
modality. Since 2006, she lives and
trains in São Paulo. Adriana enjoys to
be with her family, listening to music
and playing with her pets - cats and
dogs. When her running career ends
she plans to become a coach.
