Guilherme was the most important
name of the Brazilian fencing at the
Guadalajara Pan American Games
when he won the bronze medal in
the individual and team combats. He
was also champion at the Pre-
Olympic Tournament of the Americas
and obtained the 28th position
among 122 athletes at the Russia
World Youth Championship. He has
tried almost every sport modality but
decided for fencing during a summer
season at the club when he was 8
years old. But he really took fencing
seriously six years ago.
