Cacá Ribas, at the age of 13 abandoned
swimming classes to learn how to mount
horses. Since 1997 he lives in Belgium. He
built a very solid sports career and also is
a successful horse trader. Among his
most outstanding victories are the
Eindhoven (Holland) Derby, the Lummen
(Belgium) Derby, the Hickstead Salver
(Hickstead, UK), The Best of Brazil at the
Athina Onassis Horse Show event, the 2nd place at the Linz Nations Cup (Austria)
and the 3rd place at the La Baule Nations
Cup (France). The London Olympic
Games will be his first participation in
the Games.
