At the Guadalajara Pan American Games
2011 she obtained the 5th place in the team
event. The first South American to reach
the finals at a World Cup (Holland/09),
Luiza rides since her early childhood and
from five to 13 years of age she practiced
horse jumping. After that she changed to
dressage aiming at improving her body
posture and fell in love with the modality.
She competed in the Beijing Olympic
Games 2008 at 16 and won the 39th place
in the individual event. She is a 3rd Army
Sergeant, is a Law undergraduate student
and influenced by her father, practices
boxing.
