For the past 10 years César has
frequently been among the 10 best
placed in the world ranking. In 2009
he reached the 3rd place and, in 2002,
was the first Brazilian to climb the
podium at a Grand Prix event. He is a
Physical Education graduate. He
competed in Athens 2004 (9th ) and
Beijing 2008 (24th ). When his diving
career ends he wants to continue
working with sport, investing in the
beginners category. He plays the
“cavaquinho” (small guitar-like
instrument) and loves “pagode”, a
Brazilian music similar to samba.
