She has participated in eight world championships and in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, when she finished in the 51st position. She admits that there is competitiveness between the three of them: she, her sister and cousin compete during training sessions but when the time comes for the real competition, they all work together to enable at least one of them to reach the podium. cycling road

In 2008 she won the third place at the America Cycling Cup and was invited to be part of the A Tribuna/ Specialized/Unilus team of São Paulo – she accepted and gave up her job at a bank in Uberaba. In 2009 she raced for the São Caetano team and since 2010 represents the Funvic/ Pindamonhagaba team. cycling road
