<strong>UFM</strong> <strong>530</strong> <strong>HT</strong>INSTALLATION 33.2.5 Pipes with cathodic protectionPipes with electric corrosion protection are generally insulated inside and outside so that thefluid has no conductive connection to the ground. The <strong>flow</strong> meter must be insulated from thepipe. Observe the following instructions when installing the <strong>flow</strong> meter:• The pipe flanges must be connected to each other using a copper cable (L), but must not beconnected to the <strong>flow</strong>meter.• The bolts for the flange connections and the gaskets must be insulated.
