Residence permit<br />

Your residence permit application must be submitted to the Danish embassy or consulate in<br />

your home country as soon as you receive your Admission Letter from <strong>DTU</strong>. The embassy or<br />

consulate will send your application to the Danish Immigration Service which is responsible<br />

for granting your residence permit. Please note, that it takes several months to process<br />

your residence permit application.<br />

If you have made use of the Early Application Deadline<br />

and you have been admitted to a <strong>MSc</strong> program , you<br />

will receive information and advice from the<br />

Accommodation Office at <strong>DTU</strong>.<br />

Students live in dormitories, on-campus accommodation<br />

or rented rooms with private landlords.<br />

Please note that we are only able to guarantee ac-<br />

comodation for the first year of your stay. Therefore,<br />

make sure to apply for accomodation upon arrival. Go<br />

to www.ciu.dk for more information.<br />
