Thickgreenbelt with suitable plant species shall be developed around the proposeddistillery to mitigate the odour problem.All the commitments made to the public during the Public Hearing/PublicConsultation meeting held on 17 th March, 2012 should be satisfactorilyimplemented and a separate budget for implementing the same should beallocated and information submitted to the Ministry’s Regional Office atBangalore.At least 5 % of the total cost of the project should be earmarked towards thecorporate social responsibility and item-wise details along with time bound actionplan should be prepared and submitted to the Ministry’s Regional Officeat Bangalore. Implementation of such program should be ensured accordingly ina time bound manner.2.5.10. Chemicals Industry (Bulk Drugs & Intermediates) located outside the notified industrialarea/estate are listed at S.N. 5(f) under category ‘A’ and appraised at Central level.M/s Posh Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.has proposed for setting up of Bulk DrugsManufacturing Unit at Sy. No. 595, 596 & 597, Talamadla (V), Tehsil/Mandal Bikanoor,District Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh. Total acquired land area is 107 acres and 35.8guntas. Out of which, proposed unit will be located in 25 acres of land. No forest,national parks, sanctuaries are located within 10 Km. Reserve forest is located within 10Km. Total cost of the project is Rs. 77.37 Crores. Incremental ground level concentration due toproposed project is PM 10 (0.09 ug/m 3 ), SO 2 (0.38 ug/m 3 ) and NOx (0.42 ug/m 3 ).Multicyclone followed by bagfilter alongwith stack (32 m) will be provided to coal firedboiler (5.0 TPH). Scrubbers will be provided for process emissions. Condensers usingchilled solution and CT water to control fugitive emissions. Fresh water requirement fromground water source will be 194 m 3 /day. Total wastewater generation will be 103 m 3 /day,out of which industrial effluent generation will be 88 m 3 /day. Effluent will be segregatedinto High TDS/COD and Low TDS/COD effluent streams. High TDS/COD effluent streamwill be treated through steam stripper followed by multiple effect evaporator (MEE) andagitated thin film drier (ATFD). Low TDS/COD effluent stream will be treated in effluenttreatment plant (ETP).No effluent will be discharged outside the factory premises. Thedistillate bottom organic residue, process organic waste, ETP sludge and incinerablehazardous waste will be sent to cement industry. ATFD and FE salt will be sent to eitheronsite proposed secured landfill.The Committee advised the project proponent to followsite selection criteria for captive landfill site prescribed by the CPCB/MoEF and priornecessary permission shall be obtained from APPCB/CPCB.Mixed and spent solvent,
