Research ActivitiesResearch scope at the divisionThe research activities at the Division stem from the following three traditionalcompetence areas: electric power systems, power electronics and electricalmachines. Moreover these competence areas are being applied at the Division inseveral application areas with primary focus on wind power, transmission and distribution,and electrical vehicles. New areas for research are typically found in overlappingcompetence areas e.g. applied power electronics for the electric powersystem.
