Background - <strong>Doshi</strong> Substation• <strong>Doshi</strong> is a <strong>2<strong>20</strong></strong>/<strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong> Substation for distributing power at <strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong>. Will be supplied by the PUL to CHM <strong>2<strong>20</strong></strong> <strong>kV</strong> dble cct Tx line Will provide <strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong> to households within approximately 60 km radius of<strong>Doshi</strong> Will have a single 5 MVA <strong>2<strong>20</strong></strong>/<strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong> transformer installed• 5 MVA <strong>2<strong>20</strong></strong>/<strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong> Transformer will enable: 8,300 households to be supplied at 600 VA per household peak dem<strong>and</strong>(ADMD) 5,000 households to be supplied at 1,000 VA per household peak dem<strong>and</strong> These figures exclude possible industrial, commercial <strong>and</strong> agriculturalload

<strong>Doshi</strong> Substation – Key Features• Outdoor <strong>2<strong>20</strong></strong> <strong>kV</strong> double bus, conventional technology, lowcost with good reliability <strong>and</strong> serviceability• Single <strong>2<strong>20</strong></strong>/<strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong> 5 MVA transformer with space allowed forup to 2 x 16 MVA transformers to be added at a later date• Indoor <strong>20</strong> <strong>kV</strong> metalclad bus <strong>and</strong> switchgear, to be located in aswitchgear room adjacent to the control room• Control room includes heating <strong>and</strong> cooling, lighting, water <strong>and</strong>sanitary supply• Full SCADA <strong>and</strong> remote CSCS control allowed for, withnetwork communication via OPGW• Technical specifications, schedules of quantities, technicalschedules <strong>and</strong> budget cost have been prepared
