RSMAE air cooled condensing unitSMAE H reversible heat pumpGeneral featuresFRAMESelf-supporting galvanized steel frame protected withpolyester powder painting. Panels are easly removable formaintenance and service activities.VersionsDSPartial condensing heat recovery. Each refrigerant circuitincludes a desuperheater insulated and installed in seriesbetween the compressor and the condenser.COMPRESSORSHermetic “scroll” type with overload protection by a klixonand complete with oil sight glass. They are installed onvibrations absorbing rubber and placed within a closedcompartment to reduce sound level and to allow service andmaintenance activities while unit is in operation.CONDENSER / EVAPORATORCopper tube and aluminium finned coil. As option aprotection grid is available.FANSAxial fans with aerodynamic outline blade section made ofAl/Mg, directly coupled to a three phase electric motor withexternal rotor. A safety fan guard is fitted on air flowdischarge.REFRIGERANT CIRCUITUnits from mod. 51 to mod. 151 (excepted mod. 112) areequipped with 1 refrigerant circuit.Units from mod. 182 to 292 are equipped with 2 refrigerantcircuits. Each refrigerant circuit is complete with 2 service valves: 1off on the suction line, 1 off on the discharge line.To protect the refrigerant circuits, following devices areinstalled: automatic reset high and low pressure switch, antifreeze thermostat. Besides, only on the sizes from mod.212 to mod. 292: manual reset high and safety pressureswitch and safety valves. In the heat pump unit version the refrigerant circuit contains,in addition: safety thermostat on compressor discharge line,4-way-valve, no-return valve, solenoid valve, liquid receiver, liquid separator on compressor suction line.ELECTRICAL BOARDWeather proof type with protection grade IP55 installed inthe compressor box to enable service and maintenanceactivities while unit is in operation. It includes:‣ Main circuit automatic breaker with locking door device, main fuses, compressor contactor and fuses, auxiliarycircuits trafo, free contact to the room thermostat. Moreover microprocessor to control automatically theunit with a visual system to display the function as wellas failures.RCS(not available for heat pump units)Condensing heat recovery from 70% to 90%. Eachrefrigerant circuit includes a heat exchanger insulated andmounted in series between compressor and condenser.Condensing control through pressure transducer.RCP(not available for heat pump units)100% condensing heat recovery. Each refrigerant circuitincludes: a heat exchanger insulated and mounted inparallel to the condenser and the relevant solenoid valves.LNLow noise version, it includes: pressostatic fan speedcontrol, compressor box insulated by high sound absorbinglayer.VLN(not available for heat pump units)Very low noise version. Further to the LN devices, thisversion is equipped with a bigger surface condensing coiland low speed fans.Options- Liquid line complete with: dryer, sight glass, shut offvalve- To the liquid line: filter dryer, sight glass with valve.- Liquid receiver (included in SMAE…H).- T-connection for HGBP-valve.- Thermostatic valve (not mounted).- Power factor condensing capacitors.- Fans speed control.- Cu/Cu condensing coils.- Coils protection grid.- Compressor suction and discharge shut-off valves.- Gauges with shut-off valves.- Programmer clock.- Remote control panel.- Rubber antivibrators.- Wooden crate packing.
