Step 1Insert six cam studs (A) into the leftside panel (1) and six cam studs intothe right side panel (2) using a crosshead screwdriver as shown.Insert the four feet (H) into thebottom edges of the left side panel(1) and the right side panel (2).1H2abStep 2Insert six dowels (B) into the left sidepanel (1) and six dowels into the rightside panel (2).You may need to tap the dowels inusing a small hammer.214Murano Storage Chest V2.indd 4 10/6/09 10:59:33

6Step 11Attach the two hinge arms (E) to thelid using four small screws (F).Secure the screws using a crosshead screwdriver as shown.FE5Step 12Attach the lid to the chest by locatingthe centre screw on the hinge platethrough the hole at the bottom of thehinge arm.Tighten the screw to secure the lid.9Murano Storage Chest V2.indd 9 10/6/09 10:59:46

Adjustment of the hingesScrew A - turn this screw clockwiseto move the lid forwards, anticlockwiseto move the lid backwards.ABStep 13Screw B - this screw is for verticaladjustment. loosen the screw andslide the hinges up or down to thedesired height then tighten the screwto secure at that height.Screws C - to slide the lid left andright on the chest, loosen thesescrews then move the lid either leftor right, then tighten the screws tosecure the lid in that position.CGStep 14Attach the fall stay (G) to the rightside panel of the chest as shownusing two small screws (F).F10Murano Storage Chest V2.indd 10 10/6/09 10:59:48

Step 15 1Secure the fall stay to the lid usingtwo small screws (F) and a crosshead screwdriver as shown.FTurning the collar anti-clockwiserestricts the movement of the bar.Step 16 2Turning the collar clockwise allowsthe bar to move more freely.Your Murano Storage Chest is nowcomplete.Please check that all fittings aresecure before using this product.11Murano Storage Chest V2.indd 11 10/6/09 10:59:49
